We simply deconstructed the Internet, placing age-friendly large type, plain English instructions on every screen to guide a reluctant elder step-by-step on to the world wide web, email and much more.

65 and older nationwide, particularly the rural isolated and low income urban, and all family caregivers

OUTCOME DETAILS
99% would recommend; 10,000 learners who completed the entire DII tutorial provide clear evidence that this Initiative is effective.

SOCIAL ISOLATION OR CONNECTION MEASURES USED
Pre- and post-tests in more than 30 venues in 10 counties; spontaneous emails from family members, coaches, and administrators.
