Understanding the Impact of Social Isolation and Loneliness Programs Community of Practice
Purpose
This community of practice involved three organizations with programs or interventions that address social isolation and/or loneliness and that utilize the Upstream Social Interaction Risk Screener (U-SIRS) as a “pre-test” and “post-test” to collect data and better understand their program or intervention’s impact.
Members of the Community of Practice:
- Received an introduction to U-SIRS and no-cost access during participation
- Learned from a leading researcher and additional guest experts
- Received technical assistance and support with implementing U-SIRS into workflow and programming
- Grew their professional network with others interested in this topic
Phase I ran from May through August 2023. Commit to Connect concluded Phase II, which ran from December 2023 to August 2024.
