Area Agency on Aging for North Florida, Inc is one of the eleven Area Agency on Aging in Florida. The Area Agency is also designated as an Aging and Disabilty Resource Center (ADRC) providing services to help preserve the independence, and quality of life of elders and persons with disabilities desiring to remain within their own Community. Services include Home Care Program, Nutrition Programs, (Home Delivered Meals, Congregate Meals, Nutritional Counseling),Family Caregiver Support Program, Adult Family Care, Personal Care Management Program, Money Management Program, Congregate and Supportive Housing,Home repairs, Nursing Home Ombudsman Program, Options Counseling, Respite, and Information and Referral, Legal assistance, Health care counseling, transportation, and employment.

The Area Agency on Aging for North Florida as mandated by the Older Americans Act, have responsibility for development of planning for all aging issues in their respective Planning and Service Area. We are a private non-profit corporation that contracts with the State of Florida Department of Elder Affairs to administer federal and state programs for seniors and their caregivers in a fourteen county Planning and Service Area (PSA).
