Denakkanaaga provides information, referral, support, and advocacy service. We provide comprehensive needs assessments, to include in depth follow up. Our Executive Director and program director travel to these villages many times a year.We provide elders important social service needs that may not otherwise be met. We hold workshops on such topics as Medicaid,Medicare,fraud,diabetes,wills,organ donation,suicide,drugs and dementia.We work closely with other organizations but do not overlap.

(FNA)Fairbanks Native Association provides services for the Fairbanks area. (TCC) Tanana Chiefs Conference provides service to the whole Doyon region which is accessible by air only. Denakkanaaga serves the road connected villages which are Eagle, Northway, Tetlin, Tok, Tanacross Dot Lake, Nenana and Minto.
